Matt started with CG as an intern and post-graduation from Michigan State University, he stayed on full time. After working several years in the Michigan offices, he made the move down to Charlotte in 2011. He specializes in working with individuals or families on their 6 key areas of financial planning and he also works with business owners on advanced planning concepts such as cash balance retirement plans. Matt holds CFP®, ChFC®, AIF®, REBC® designations.

He is the former President of the Charlotte Providence Rotary club. Matt is married to Megan, and they have three kids, Lainey, Tatum, and Carson. Avid sports fan, who root for Michigan State, Carolina Panthers, Detroit Red Wings, and Detroit Tigers. They enjoy taking the kids to the beach and hiking the NC mountains. Matt also enjoys classic American muscle cars.
