Laura joined CG Financial Services in 2018 after moving to the Upper Peninsula, after being a life-long resident of Charlevoix. Laura owned and operated her own independent bookkeeping and accounting business for 25 years prior to moving north. She began with CG by providing external bookkeeping, accounting and payroll services to clients, in addition to assisting with tax return preparation. Earlier this year, Laura moved to the corporate operations within CG. Her expertise lies in the continued accounting operations and payroll processing.Laura attended and graduated from Charlevoix Public Schools and completed her Commerce Degree from North Central Michigan College. In the past, Laura served on numerous boards, primarily as Treasurer and/or Secretary volunteer positions in the Charlevoix Little League, the Charlevoix Snowmobile Club, the Bethany Lutheran Church Human Care Board, the Charlevoix Rayders Baseball organization, the Charlevoix Elks Club House Committee and the Jordan Valley Trails Council Snowmobile division.Laura and her husband have two grown sons, who each have families of their own and have blessed them with six grandchildren, all of whom they have the honor of being able to participate in their lives on almost a daily basis. They are very active in the outdoors, including snowmobiling, hunting and raising Bluetick hounds, among other interests.
